Why couldn’t Hegel make The Phenomenology of Spirit as understandable as his lecture notes?

I searched up biographies of few philosophers to check whether they ever got married (I was thinking, who would every marry these guys?). Here is the result of this wasteful activity.

Married: Marx, Hegel, Heidegger, Mill, Bacon

Never Married: Kant, Locke, Hume, Hobbes, Descartes, Nietzsche, Spinoza, Leibniz
